Putting my sewing skills to the test with my very first attempt at a patchwork quilt! Made with both scrap material and some lovely Cath Kidston! Half way there, just the back, the batting and the binding to finish!

London based creative agency, Fred & Eric kindly invite creatives from all different disiplins to submit an ampersand designs to become part of their ever changing logo! This month my book carving was chosen to appear as a guest on their banner! A massive thank you to the ladies at Fred & Eric!

At my work placement I also got to design and print my very own t-shirts. I decided to do an illustration of my newly purchased antique Singer sewing machine! I also did a series of badges in a few different colours!

I have recently come back from my work placement down in Somerset, with a company called I Dress Myself! I Dress Myself have recently moved from Nottingham, and wanted there studio livening up a bit! As they are an eco friendly company I got set the task to make some decorations by recycling left over prints they had in the studio. I decided to make some decoration Origami Tee’s and Ties, reflecting the ethos of I Dress Myself, and what they do! 

Such a lovely design. So simple, yet so good!
